Inventory software for Packing Partner users

Packing Partner handles order processing, labels and fulfilment. A dedicated inventory layer can sit alongside that workflow to control stock, purchasing and channel quantities without changing how orders are packed.

Why add a separate inventory layer?

Order processing answers what needs to be dispatched. Inventory control answers a different set of questions: how many units are genuinely available, what changed that figure, what is already on order, which supplier should replenish it, and what quantity should each marketplace be allowed to sell.

What to look for

The inventory system should accept sales from the existing Packing Partner workflow, keep one stock position per SKU, preserve an explainable movement history, support purchase orders and stocktakes, and publish controlled quantities back to the channels that need them.
  • A direct or documented route for sales data into inventory.
  • Clear handling of duplicate, unmatched or ambiguous sales.
  • Listing-to-SKU mapping that can be checked before stock sync is enabled.
  • Purchasing and partial receiving against the same SKU ledger.
  • Stocktaking that does not require online sales to stop.

How TrueSKU fits

TrueSKU is designed to sit underneath Packing Partner rather than replace it: it receives sales data via API or CSV, keeps one canonical stock figure per SKU, and can also push outbound stock updates directly to any marketplaces you connect to it. Packing Partner customer pricing may be available for eligible users.
