Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 9 July 2026
These Terms govern your use of TrueSKU, an inventory and stock management service operated by Truestone Software Ltd. By creating an account, connecting a sales channel or using TrueSKU, you agree to these Terms.
1. TrueSKU accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.
2. Trials, subscriptions and billing
TrueSKU may offer free trials or promotional access. After a trial ends, continued access may require an active paid subscription. Subscription features, limits and prices may vary by plan and may include SKU capacity, channel synchronisation features and optional add-ons.
Payments are handled by our payment provider. Unless stated otherwise, subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by Truestone Software Ltd. You may cancel future renewal of a subscription through the account area or by contacting support.
3. Connected services and credentials
TrueSKU can connect to third-party services such as marketplaces, ecommerce platforms and sales channels. You authorise TrueSKU to use credentials, tokens or app permissions that you provide or approve for the purpose of delivering the features you enable.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to connect each store, marketplace or service to TrueSKU and to allow TrueSKU to read or update inventory data for that service.
4. Stock synchronisation and user responsibility
TrueSKU is designed to help manage inventory, stock movements, purchase orders, stock takes and channel listings. Some features can update stock quantities on connected services. You are responsible for checking SKU mappings, channel settings, inventory locations and synchronisation settings before enabling outbound stock updates.
TrueSKU includes controls and review tools to reduce the risk of incorrect stock updates, but no stock management system can remove every risk. You remain responsible for reviewing results and correcting any errors or mismatches.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of your business data. You grant TrueSKU permission to process your data to provide, secure and improve the service, including by storing and processing SKU, listing, stock, supplier, purchase order, stock movement and connected-channel information.
Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse TrueSKU, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, use the service for unlawful activity, or use it in a way that could harm TrueSKU, other users or connected platforms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that TrueSKU will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. We may change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security, platform changes, maintenance or product development.
8. Support
Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Early adopters and pilot users may receive additional informal support, but this does not create a guaranteed service level unless agreed in writing.
9. Third-party platforms
TrueSKU relies on third-party platforms and APIs. Those platforms may change their rules, APIs, permissions, pricing, availability or review requirements. We are not responsible for outages, restrictions or changes made by third-party platforms, but we will use reasonable efforts to adapt TrueSKU where practical.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truestone Software Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, or losses caused by incorrect data, incorrect SKU mappings or third-party platform changes.
11. Termination
You may stop using TrueSKU at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, misuse the service, create security risk, or where we are required to do so by law or by a connected platform.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users.
