STOCK CONTROL FOR MULTICHANNEL SELLERS

Stop updating stock in every store.

Keep stock quantities aligned across your website and marketplaces. TrueSKU connects your existing listings to one shared stock position and automatically updates availability as you sell.

Keep your stores, your listings and the way you process orders.

Listings in TrueSKU. Each linked listing shows the quantity on the channel, the quantity TrueSKU wants it to be, and when it was last updated.
The problem

One sale shouldn't mean updating several websites.

Sell something on eBay and you then need to lower the quantity on your website and on Amazon. Miss one and you risk selling stock you no longer have. Split your stock between channels to stay safe and one of them shows "sold out" while another still has units sitting unsold.

TrueSKU gives every linked listing the same shared stock position. When a sale is recorded, the figure behind your other listings is updated too, without you touching each store.

How it works

Connect your listings. Take control of your stock.

01

Connect your channels

Link your website and marketplace accounts. TrueSKU reads your existing listings and nothing is sent back to your channels at this stage, so your live quantities stay as they are.

02

Link listings to a shared SKU

Match each listing to a SKU. TrueSKU suggests matches from your SKU codes and you can link the rest yourself or by CSV. Several listings of one product can share a single stock figure.

03

Turn on stock sync when you're ready

Check your SKU stock and linked listings, then switch stock sync on, store by store. TrueSKU only starts updating a channel once you've enabled it.

Fits what you already have

You've built your selling setup. Keep it.

Keep your listings

TrueSKU works with the listings already live on your channels. You don't re-list or migrate anything, and it only changes stock quantities.

Keep your stores

Your website and marketplace accounts carry on as they are. TrueSKU sits alongside them rather than replacing them.

Keep your order process

TrueSKU isn't an order-management or dispatch system. It just needs to receive your sales, from your channels, Packing Partner, CSV or the API.

What does change
  • TrueSKU becomes the one place your stock numbers live. You'll set up your SKUs and starting quantities once, then record deliveries and stock counts there instead of in each store.
  • Once sync is on, TrueSKU's figure replaces the quantity shown on the channel.
  • Updates run on a regular cycle rather than instantly, so a short delay between a sale and your other channels catching up is normal.

Questions

Common questions

Will it work with my existing listings?

Yes. TrueSKU reads the listings that are already live on each channel, so you don't re-list or migrate anything. To keep a listing's stock in sync it needs to be linked to a SKU in TrueSKU. Listings are matched automatically where the SKU (or eBay custom label) on the listing matches a TrueSKU SKU, and you can link the rest by hand or in bulk by CSV. Listings that aren't linked are flagged for review and are not updated, and sales on them don't change stock: they wait in your Sales Inbox until the listing is linked. TrueSKU changes stock quantities only; it doesn't edit your titles, prices or descriptions.

Do I have to change how I process orders?

No. TrueSKU doesn't replace your order-processing, shipping or dispatch tools. It does need to know when you make a sale so it can reduce the shared stock figure: it collects sales directly from your connected channels (you switch this on for each channel), or receives them from Packing Partner, by CSV import or through its API. If your order system isn't one of those, get in touch before you sign up and we'll tell you honestly whether it will fit.

Which channels does it work with?

Stock sync is available for Amazon, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, Etsy, OnBuy and Magento 2, plus the B&Q, Tesco, Superdrug, Debenhams and The Range marketplaces. For each of these TrueSKU reads your sales from the channel (inbound) and sends quantity updates back to it (outbound). On Amazon, TrueSKU updates stock you fulfil yourself; stock held in Amazon's fulfilment centres (FBA) is managed by Amazon and isn't overwritten. Packing Partner, CSV import and the API are ways of getting sales and stock data in, rather than channels TrueSKU sends stock to. The integrations page has the current list.

Will my quantities change as soon as I connect?

No. Connecting a channel only reads its listings. New stores start with stock sync switched off, and there's also an account-wide stock sync switch that is off by default. The usual order is: connect, link your listings to SKUs, check the stock figures, switch on direct sales collection for each channel, then switch sync on for one store at a time and the account-wide switch last. TrueSKU doesn't send a quantity to any channel until you've turned sync on. From then on its figure replaces the quantity on that channel, so make future stock changes in TrueSKU rather than in each store.

How quickly do changes reach my channels?

Not instantly. By default TrueSKU checks each connected channel for new sales about every five minutes and sends changed quantities roughly every minute after that, and each channel takes its own time to process an update. Expect minutes rather than seconds. In that gap another channel can still show the old quantity, so for fast-selling lines many sellers hold a small buffer back.

Which plan includes stock sync?

Stock sync is included during your free trial. After that it needs a Channel Sync plan: Growth + Channel Sync at £69/month (up to 3,000 SKUs) or Pro + Channel Sync at £129/month (up to 10,000 SKUs). The Starter, Growth and Pro plans without Channel Sync don't send stock updates to your channels. Packing Partner customers pay £58/month and £109/month respectively. Prices are in £ and no VAT is currently charged.

Can I try it before subscribing?

Yes. You get a 21-day free trial, and no credit card is required to start. Stock sync is available during the trial so you can test it properly, with a limit of 10,000 SKUs. When the trial ends, sending stock updates to your channels needs a plan that includes Channel Sync.
